Almost half way through the week and we wanted to give everyone an update.
At Helium Heights - Amarillo, Texas, we’ve wrapped up the removal of two structures that had outlived their purpose - unsafe, beyond repair, and no longer serving the facility.
Now we’re pushing east to west across the site, cleaning up what was left behind from the 335 Loop expansion - concrete, rebar, and miscellaneous slabs that never should’ve stayed as long as they did. That phase rolls straight into prepping a large footprint for future parking, markets, and event space (not condos…). All external to the main facility, but all tied into where this place is headed.
Inside the facility, same mindset - clean it up, make it usable, make it better.
We removed outdated storage rooms that were thrown up over time just to meet demand, but weren’t built to last. In that same area, we pulled roughly 900 linear feet of steel supports with Llano Estacado Outdoor Solutions over utility trenches and brought everything back to grade.
What that does is simple:
It sets the stage for a single-level floor system that looks better, moves better, and most importantly - makes the space safer and more accessible for everyone moving through it.
This is the kind of work that doesn’t always get the spotlight, but it’s what turns a property into something functional again.
