Antiques Iowa is CLOSED THIS MORNING! Hopefully open by 1pm! We are always closed when I-35 is closed. And this morning even I-80 was closed!

So if you want to hunt and gather, come this afternoon!

I read a post this morning that said that thrifting is saving our planet because 90% of second hand good would have gone into a landfill. I don’t know if that figure is correct; BUT, we do make a difference reusing… repurposing …. Being CREATIVE & BEING THRIFTY !

Remember when … if your Mom bought at garage sales, you were embarrassed? My Mom was always a thrifter. She enjoyed the hunt & the cheap prices too. I grew up remaking clothes creatively. Did you?

The picture below is some oil cans from V #1014. They would make a cool vignette in yourMan’s Cave! They are at least 15% Off this week! After this weather, there is still plenty of time to shop!
