Super last minute but this is truly my favorite event of the year! You don’t have to be Alaska native or a regular church goer to come it’s about seeing people you haven’t seen in a while and being happy.
In my opinion this is the only place to see the prettiest parkas in Alaska so come say hi and hang out! (I can also introduce you to people as my cousin so don’t be shy)

I have been busy beading the past few weeks! I haven’t had this many necklaces at once in a long time. Since I’m not sure when I’m going to do another in person market I will upload these to my website. You can always message me for more info 💛✨
And a bonus picture of a project I worked on for Valentine’s Day. It’s called “Uummatiga” or “My heart” in Iñupiaq and it’s a life size heart filled with pearls, ivory bits, old earrings, rocks from my favorite places, a reindeer antler piece and sealskin so it also weights the same as my heart. I love the little details and it was fun to do something completely different.

Very excited to announce that during the Elders and Youth Conference I will be teaching a sealskin Christmas ornament making class.

My class will be 3pm to 5pm in the Idlughet 3 room. This is the main floor to the far side! All materials will
be provided thanks to a workshop grant made possible by Bering Straits Native Corporation.

With AFN and Elders & Youth coming up I’ve decided to sell this necklace. I normally only donate these pieces but this black and red necklace with matching earrings is $500 or $450 without the display case.
The necklace is just over 26” long and is 4.5” wide at the longest point. Hand crafted with 24k gold plated hardware on the necklace and earrings. Glass beads and small glass pearl’s used as well as artificial sinew.
