We had the opportunity to attend the Kodiak Workforce Forum hosted by the Kodiak Economic Development Corporation as a special guest, and it was an incredibly meaningful experience.

The forum brought together a powerful mix of leaders across industry, education, and workforce development, all focused on a shared goal of aligning opportunity with real community needs. From discussions on emerging industries like mariculture to innovative workforce training models and technology-enabled jobAdivo - Alaska’s On-Demand Task Appking strategically about its future.

As the founder of Adivo - Alaska’s On-Demand Task App, I had the opportunity to share how we are working to connect individuals with real time, local support for everyday needs, and to explore how models like this can complement workforce development efforts, especially in rural and underserved areas.
What stood out most was the collaborative energy in the room. Kodiak is not just talking about workforce challenges, it is actively building solutions through partnerships, innovation, and community driven thinking.

Grateful to have been invited and excited to continue conversations on how Adivo can support and grow alongside the incredible work happening in Kodiak.
