The Solo Aging Symposium was a unique collaboration between AAACF and several other partners, along with the Ann Arbor theatre consulting company, Limelight LLC. This pioneering event, held at the Downtown Branch of the Ann Arbor District Library, focused on promoting healthy aging in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The symposium included an engaging theatrical performance by Limelight, a panel discussion lead by Christopher Lemon (VP of Community Investment), additional informative sessions, and a delicious lunch.

What is the Solo Acts Symposium and why are we doing it? To share stories, amplify resources, engage with policymakers, and most of all connect people. Solo Agers oftentimes aren't part of the conversation, but at this event, as Sharon Cramer puts it, "there will be a lot more room for everybody than one would think."

Aging in Ann Arbor can mean many different things, especially if you’re a solo ager. Join Limelight for Solo Acts: A Solo Aging Symposium & Theatrical Performance on Friday, May 10 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Ann Arbor District Library. Registration encouraged.
