Let me tell you about unbelievable night we had last week. My wife and I went out for an evening to see a concert by a Bee Gees tribute group. It did not start out very good though as we arrived and I gave my tickets to a lady who introduced herself as Linda. Since it was our first time at this venue I asked her to help us find our seats. She said that our tickets were for standing only down by the stage. Now I was surprised because I never went to a concert and paid to stand up for the whole concert. Now my wife has had both knees replaced and mine are not in very good shape either so this was not a good thing. She then told us to wait a minute and that she would check to see if there were any tickets left so that maybe we could find two seats but likely will not be next to each other. She returned and said "sorry the concert is sold out" no seats are available. Then she said why don't we wait awhile and maybe someone who had bought tickets will not show up and while you are waiting you can go over by the bar and sit on the sofa.
So we went to the bar and sat on the sofa for awhile thinking that this is not going to work out then Linda shows up again and said "great you found the sofa" which was great because there was only one sofa just big enough for two people. She even brought us both a bottle of water. After about twenty minutes or so I asked my wife what she wanted to do because it is not looking good that we will find seats for this concert tonight. My wife said well lets go somewhere for a nice dinner or catch a movie. I said we might as well make the best of it. So we got up from the sofa and started towards the exit and Linda shows up again and says that she found a table with two chairs for us. We were very surprised to say the least. It was a perfect seat with a cozy little table just for two. Now I am thinking that at any minute someone is going to walk up and say to us that we were sitting in their seats. About 15 minutes later Linda shows up again to tell us that the doors to the concert were now closed and that no one else would be let in so we no longer had to worry about getting kicked out of our seats.
So now we could finally relax and enjoy what ended up being a two hour awesome concert
The singers were incredible and they did an outstanding job. Their harmonies were spot and if you closed your eyes you would think that the real Bee Gees were performing, they were that good!
The band, the beat, the sound, the singers were all synchronized perfectly.
It ended up being an unbelievably enjoyable night thanks to Linda. I tried to find her after the show to tell her that if it wasn't for her we would have missed an awesome concert and how grateful we were for her diligence in making sure that she tried everything she could to make sure that we could have a great time.
She made it a very memorable night that we will never forget.
