Where have I been?? I have some explaining to do… but until then, how about a little Spring in your feed?

This tree is up at Vintage Rose… I love it for many reasons but mostly because its proof a flocked tree really can live on beyond Christmas.

This one is living its best life!

Another tree taken down yesterday. I have one more customer & one more 🎄at home that needs to be taken down and then that’s a wrap on the season .

I’ve done this theme for several years & it’s coming back bigger & better next year. Some after- Christmas sales netted me a bunch of new ribbons, picks and ornaments… so it’ll be the same color scheme but glamming it up with more champagne & sparkle on a full-sized flocked - 7,9 or even a 12-ft.

I’m excited I already have commitments on the calendar for next season (Yay me!) Now, who needs this theme in their home for 2026?

Hi Christmas friends! (Read on & then gimme your opinion!)

When the frozen tundra of northeast Wisconsin lives up to its name, and we're hunkered down for some scary temperatures, do you get nutty & think of all the chores you'll get done in the house?

Yeah, that's me. I have big plans for the Carmy Christmas room this weekend. The photo doesn't really capture the magnitude of chaos there... but I will be sorting & organizing until forever.

I also need to share with you the Mardi Gras tree that went up recently at Vintage Rose bakery...

And the Valentine's Day tree I put up in my sunroom. It's lovely, but my doggie is using the bottom of the tree as a back scratcher, so its days are numbered.

If I have it in me to do another tree this weekend (my office needs some love), what would be your vote:

As 2026 kicks off, It’s a bummer to think about taking down trees in January… especially this beauty.

It was a new job this year… and wow, what a job! A 12-foot flocked tree with a refined color palette of gold, white, cream and navy.

I’m grateful for my friend Erin who introduced me to Evolved Habitat LLC and this beautiful home/showroom.

Friendships & connections have made Carmy Christmas Holiday Design in 2025 just the right amount of busy!
