As a proud member of the Divine Nine, this project meant more to me than just design.

For today’s Black 365 highlight, I am honored to showcase my opportunity to create an updated seal for the Beta Kappa Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in High Point, North Carolina.

When you understand the history, the symbolism, and the legacy behind Black Greek letter organizations, you approach the work differently. This was not about creating something new for the sake of change. It was about honoring tradition while refining clarity, structure, and visual impact.

To design for a chapter established in 1994 and known as the “On Point” Chapter was both a responsibility and a privilege.

This is what culturally rooted design looks like.

Design should feel alive. It should spark curiosity. It should make people stop scrolling.

I am honored to serve as the founder of Racing2Equality, a nonprofit organization focused on extinguishing discrimination and promoting awareness, education, and advocacy. Building this platform allowed me to combine my passion for equality with my skills in website development and digital storytelling.

Creating this organization and website represents more than professional work. It represents purpose, impact, and commitment to creating spaces that support change.

Continuing my Black 365 series.

This video was created to remind little Black girls to let their light shine and never dim it for anyone.

The woman you see is Black Pyro, a character I created as an alter ego. She is confident, fearless, and unapologetically herself. She represents the fire we carry even when the world tells us to shrink.

This video is about affirmation.
It is about power.
It is about reminding our girls and ourselves that we are enough exactly as we are.

Every frame, every moment, every choice was intentional.

Black girls deserve to see themselves reflected as strong, bold, and limitless.
