Longroad filed an application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) on August 2, 2022. There will be a public hearing with the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee beginning on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. and continuing on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, and Thursday September 22, 2022, as necessary, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on each day through the completion of the hearing. The hearing will be held at the Hampton Inn and Suites Phoenix-Goodyear, 2000 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85395. Public comment will be taken in a special evening session on Monday, September 19, 2022, beginning at 5:30 PM., via telephone, zoom, or in person at the Hampton Inn and Suites Phoenix-Goodyear.
Longroad Energy is developing the proposed Sun Streams Expansion Gen-Tie Project (Project) which will transmit renewable energy from the proposed Sun Streams Expansion Solar and Storage Project to the regional transmission grid.
