... today was my first day back at designing...“tashica morgan designs” funny, she named it that... my business —yep, 9 yrs ago in a “meeting” at the barnes and noble in bowie town center... she sat across the table from me and said “you’re going to be great!” she saw so much in me and had big dreams for me...
and here we are... well it was only befitting that i would return to her space first— she would have it no other way, lol. she wanted her dining room finished by thanksgiving... and what wants, smith gets. today was hard sis, bringing in my ladder, wearing my tool belt... and you weren’t present... and sure i’ve been in your house without you there before... but this time...
i miss you man. i mean really miss. i’m scared about whether i want to continue designing (and i know you’re saying “you better keep designing!!!” but without you? sigh). so yea, i’m going to keep designing (slowly, but surely) if for anything, for you lady. like so many other businesses you started, you worked just as hard on my bus’n (if not more at times *giggle*) and so, i will continue on😌
ps: i also hear her saying “you better post my dining room!”
giggle— she was so proud of the home she made with this house... and it will be done friend; each and every room, and i will post them one by one😚
