π§ Frigidaire Electric Cooktop Repair | Intermittent Power Loss | Electrical Connection Issue
Another successful appliance repair by Greg's Grade A Appliance Repair! πͺπ½
Our customer was experiencing an intermittent electrical issue with their Frigidaire electric cooktop. When turning on the cooktop, it would sometimes lose power completely. Other times, the cooktop would not turn on at all. The customer would manually reset the circuit breaker, which would sometimes temporarily restore power.
π Customer Complaint: Frigidaire cooktop randomly losing power during operation and occasionally failing to turn on.
π§ Diagnosis: After performing electrical troubleshooting and voltage testing, we discovered a loose connection on one of the hot power supply terminals inside the electrical junction box. This loose connection was causing an intermittent loss of power to the cooktop.
β
The Fix: Properly tightened and secured the loose electrical connection inside the junction box, restoring a reliable power supply to the cooktop.
π‘ Professional Repair Tip: Not every appliance malfunction is caused by a defective part! Sometimes the problem originates from the electrical supply. Accurate troubleshooting helps identify the root cause and prevents unnecessary parts replacement.
At Greg's Grade A Appliance Repair, we take pride in accurate diagnostics, professional service, and getting to the source of the problem.
