Funny Story. I stopped at the local Deli to pick my copy of USA. Being fairly proud of getting onto today’s (May 24) Snapshots which is featured on the front page, I show Rich the owner. He says “well the results are fairly close” and I agree but indicate they’re reversed from what most people expect. To which he responds “I don’t think so, I believe it’s a well-documented fact that Republicans are generally more charitable than Democrats because they’re more religious.” Well, guess what? He’s 100% correct. The same VeraQuest poll showed that Republicans had a much higher likelihood of being religiously affiliated than Democrats. The bottom line - who needs marketing research when we got Rich.
