Uncovering forgotten details in older structures is one of my favorite things. But I've never found anything this big, what a cool discovery! Wishing them good luck as they work to restore their building and preserve the once-hidden artwork for the future.

What started out as a couple's renovation project to convert a historic building into a bar has turned into an effort to restore decades-old artwork in a small Washington town.

Wow. This is such a cool image of the phenomenal going into the restoration of an architectural icon. I saw the station in person a few years ago. Work hadn't begun but the mothballing was being removed. Pieces of these columns were peeking out. I hope one day to go back and see it shine.
