Let's chat about something many of us take for granted: employer-provided life insurance. While it's a fantastic perk, did you know it might not fully cover your needs? 🤔 Most employer-based policies offer coverage that is equal to your annual salary, which might not be enough to support your loved ones long-term. Also, if you change jobs, that coverage usually doesn't follow you. So, while it's a great starting point, it's often wise to consider a personal policy to make sure you're fully covered, no matter where life takes you.

Insurance is such a depressing...boring topic....why would anyone have any interest in it?

Well...after losing all of my electronics when my apartment was struck by lightening? I was fresh out of college, barely making ends meet and had to figure out how I would replace all of my electronics at one time.

That's when I learned about Renter's Insurance....soooo, I could have paid $10 a month and this would have been replaced? LESSON LEARNED! Sign me up....

When I got my first job out of college and didn't understand what a health deductible was. My mother who worked in health insurance got tired of explaining the differences to me in policies as I moved from job to job...she gave me the BEST advice....READ YOUR POLICY!

When my cousin started working at State Farm and the agent was so committed to helping me learn about the importance of establishing a life policy at an early age.

I got my first policy AND planned my funeral so that my loved ones could grieve in peace.

After having my babies....I started to see the savvy moves others were making with insurance to secure generational wealth, I had an epiphany: 'Why shouldn't I get in on this?'

Now, my kids can rest easy knowing they're set for the future, thanks to a rock-solid trust. What about you? Is your family's financial future protected? What's your legacy going to be?
