Here are the steps to monetize your reels 💫 a lot of people have DM me asking how to get paid from Instagram, and these are the exact steps I followed to make several hundred since the feature rollout in November ‘21. I’ve seen the feature expand to more accounts and the original max payout go from $800 for 1.2M views to $1200 per 1.74M views in a 30 day period.
The top 3 tips that I think are most helpful is to:
💫 1. Use trending sounds! I scroll thru my feed and save the sounds that are appealing to me for later.
💙 2. Tag brands/collaborators so their followers can see your posts. And
🫶🏼 3. Ask friends to share to stories! Using hashtags that are relevant help with explore-based discovery.
🔑 Another key tip I learned is to never archive or delete a post you think isn’t doing well because it can pick up and go viral weeks after posting and you will still get paid for those views. The Reels algorithm is constantly updating and it really matters if you are consistent, growth will come! Often on the least expected video. Practice, learn the features, engage with other creators, don’t over think it and most importantly, have fun! ™️
