A lot of artists try to sell their music before people even know who they are. Thatโs why understanding the marketing funnel matters. Top of funnel is brand awareness โ introducing yourself through ads, music videos, or content. Middle of funnel is keeping people engaged through shorts, stories, and consistent posting. Bottom of funnel is the actual conversion: streams, follows, email signups, or paid communities. The mistake most artists make is skipping straight to the sale without building attention and connection first.
