Patient Advocate (Front Office)

Pay starting at $19/hour

A well-established pediatric practice in Sandy Springs is currently seeking to fill one Patient Advocate (Front Office) position. This role is ideal for someone who is patient focused, organized, and brings a warm, welcoming presence to the front office.

The Patient Advocate serves as the first point of contact for families and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
▪️Greet patients and families and provide excellent customer service
▪️Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars
▪️Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
▪️Process and track referrals
▪️Complete provider assigned tasks such as faxing medical records and documentation
▪️Prepare pre visit workflows for upcoming appointments
▪️Collect co pays and payments at the time of service
▪️Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
▪️Communicate clearly with providers, clinical staff, and families

Qualifications:
▪️Previous front office or patient advocate experience in a medical or pediatric setting preferred
▪️Strong customer service and communication skills
▪️Experience with appointment scheduling and patient flow
▪️Knowledge of insurance payors and basic insurance processes
▪️Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
▪️Detail oriented, dependable, and professional
