I have been seeing a lot of restaurant and coffee shop owners saying they've received the PPP (Paycheck Protection Plan) payment and now have 2.5x their monthly salary, but they're working on limited scheduling because their sales are down substantially. We have been hearing stories of families turning in their pets because they are afraid it will infect the family with COVID-19. Our rescue partners, Orphan Annie Rescue and Barkville Dog Rescue have been helping to save these dogs from shelters, With the uncertainty, donations to the rescues are down, but rescue does not stop. Even though our store is not open yet, we want to help. We have set up a coffee fundraiser to help them during this time.
