Vitals & Virtues M.A. —- Lead Quietly. Change Everything.

✨ Every Symbol Tells a Story ✨

The Vitals & Virtues logo wasn’t chosen by chance—each symbol reflects a piece of the deeper mission behind the name.

❤️ The Heart symbolizes compassion, the essential force at the center of caregiving. It’s a quiet reminder that healing begins with love.

📖 The Bible speaks to the spiritual foundation that inspires this space. It represents a calling to serve, guided by faith, strength, and hope.

🩺 The Stethoscope honors the practice of listening—not only to physical cues but also to the unspoken needs behind them. It reflects attentiveness, care, and clinical excellence.

👩‍⚕️ The Nurse’s Cap pays tribute to the history and legacy of nursing, a profession rooted in grace, courage, and enduring dedication. Together, these symbols express the heart of Vitals & Virtues: skilled hands, grounded in faith, led by love, and honoring those who’ve walked this path before.

NCLEX Tip:

Next Gen NCLEX case studies follow the same six steps every time. Know the steps and you'll know what each question is really asking:

1. Recognize cues — What data matters?

2. Analyze cues — What does it mean?

3. Prioritize hypotheses — What's most urgent?

4. Generate solutions — What should happen?

5. Take action — What do you do first?

6. Evaluate outcomes — Did it work?

Tip: Before answering, ask yourself, "Which step is this question testing?" It narrows your focus fast.

NCLEX Tip:

Not sure of the answer? Cross out before you choose. Knock out any option that:
• Delays care. "Call the provider" is rarely first if the nurse can act safely now.
• Uses absolutes. "Always," "never," "all," and "only" are usually wrong.
• Passes the buck or doesn't address the patient's actual problem.
• Repeats another option. If two answers mean the same thing, neither is likely correct.

Then choose between the two left: assess first, unless the patient is in distress and needs action now.

NCLEX Tip🔔

Stuck on "which action is the priority"? Run every answer through these filters:

1. ABCs. Airway, breathing, circulation.
2. Maslow. Physical needs come before emotional or teaching needs.
3. Safety. Acute over chronic. Actual problems over potential ones. Unstable over stable.
