We are thrilled to announce that Kathryn Smith, the visionary behind Walton Birch, has been named part of the prestigious Georgia Tech Alumni "40 Under 40" class of 2023!
Kathryn has helped lower barriers for hundreds of entrepreneurs and small businesses, making a significant impact in economic development and entrepreneurship. From co-founding the Black Lady Business School to lower barriers for Black women and minority entrepreneurs, to recently being accepted to the Leadership Cobb class of 2024, she has proven to be a leader and an inspiration to many in the community. This recognition is a testament to her dedication and hard work.
The "40 Under 40" showcases how Georgia Tech alumni impact every field worldwide and work to improve the way we live through their diligence and expertise from an early age. We are honored that the Georgia Tech Alumni Association recognized Kathryn as an exemplary leader worthy of this nomination.
