Who is this for Throwback Thursday? The vaudeville group The Gumm Sisters - Mary Jane, Dorothy, and Frances "Baby" Gumm. Known on stage for their harmonies and energetic performances. They began to appear in films in 1929, and by 1934 had changed their name to The Garland Sisters. That same year, Baby Frances changed her name to Judy and the rest is history!

Throwback Thursday with the effervescent Karen Valentine! Karen first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show after he spotted her in 1963 The Miss Teenage America Pageant. Several years and appearances later, she won a 1970 Emmy for her sparkling performance in Room 222. She went on to films like Disney’s The North Avenue Irregulars and stage productions including Steel Magnolias. Married to Gary Verna since 1977, she stepped back from the industry in the 2000s and has kept a very private life.
