Three more Dusty Favorites lurch from the shadows of The Crypt! These three are classics of 1930s horror. Essential viewing for anyone who loves the movies that helped shape the genre.

1. 1931 Dracula with Bela Lugosi
2. 1931 Frankenstein with Boris Karloff.
3. 1932 The Mummy also with Boris Karloff

Elsa Lanchester was a versatile English actress with a wonderfully quirky, expressive presence. Her range was incredible, from comedy to horror, most famously as the Bride of Frankenstein. She brought a delightful eccentricity to her roles, including a rather hilarious episode of I Love Lucy.

🎃Three Dusty Favorites From The Crypt! Old black-and-white horror films are great. What you imagine lurking in the shadows can be far scarier than anything a modern special-effects department can sq**rt across the screen.

1. 1922 Nosferatu is a wonderfully eerie fever dream of flowing shadows, unnatural movements, and a disturbing looking vampire.

2. 1920 The House of Whispers: a sinister house and mysterious voices in the night. Sadly, this is a "lost" film.

3. 1920 The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is German Expressionism at its creepiest. A mysterious sleep walker is haunting crooked streets, with visually disturbing cityscapes & grotesque shadows.
