Our strategists stepped away from the day-to-day and into the fields—trading screens for sunshine and making time to reconnect with each other (and ourselves).

Because the best ideas don’t always come from pushing harder—they come from pausing, being present, and letting your mind wander a bit. Taking care of our mental health isn’t a “nice to have”—it’s how we show up more creatively, more thoughtfully, and more human in the work we do.
Call it research. Call it bonding. Call it intelligence having fun.

Either way, we’re bringing a little more light back with us. ✨🍓🌸

It’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💛

We’re taking time this May to slow down, check in, and take care—of ourselves and each other.

From meaningful conversations to creative moments—like a flower arranging session in the office led by Sonya Beard 🌼—we’re making space for the small things that make a big difference.

Because taking a break isn’t falling behind—it’s how we move forward, better.

From gathering in community at our Kickback Bar Cart and Spades competition, to exploring Atlanta’s civil rights history on two wheels, to spotlighting historical roots and modern branches through our visual series, we embraced Black history as something living and evolving.

We’re grateful to partner with incredible local businesses who helped bring this month to life:
Local Green
PRTY SZN
Bicycle Tours of Atlanta

Black history is not confined to the past. It moves through our work, our communities, and the futures we’re building together.

The story started underground. For Black History in Motion, we chose a tree as our anchor, not as a metaphor for the past, but as a symbol of continuity. Deep roots. Expanding branches. Constant growth. The artwork reflects what we believe: legacy feeds the present, and the present shapes what comes next.
History is not behind glass. It’s alive. And still becoming.

Thank you to Bicycle Tours of Atlanta for helping us bring it to life.

Art Night: Fire Horse Lunar New Year at Kai Lin Art Gallery 🧧✨
We began the evening by setting our intention with a moving blessing from Phra Ajarn Maha Dam Phomossan, who recently lost his leg during the Walk for Peace that concluded in DC. Despite his own challenges, he offered us happiness, health, and the ability to serve our community—a powerful reminder of resilience, compassion, and shared purpose.

Gallery director founder Yu-Kai Lin (Ukai) then led an intimate conversation on curating space for art—and for people. He defined “good taste” as work that doesn’t hit you over the head or try to convince. Instead, it sparks discussion and speaks for itself. For Ukai, art should invite reflection and create room for complexity, culture, and community.

He even played a beautiful song for us on the piano—an unexpected and heartfelt moment that brought the evening full circle.

We closed the night at Food Terminal, sharing delicious food and continuing the conversation—grounded in connection, creativity, and light. ✨

Peace is not passive. It is practiced.

This week, BrightHouse was honored to stand alongside our colleagues from the Washington, DC office and Asian@BCG to support the Walk for Peace. What began as a simple act of service—delivering food from a local Asian-owned small business to monks on their final leg through Capitol Hill—became something more profound.

At BrightHouse, we believe purpose lives in practice. Supporting this moment reinforced lessons that transcend a single day:
• Community is cultivated through shared action.
• Acceptance requires humility and flexibility.
• Even small acts of giving can sustain something much larger than ourselves.

We are proud to partner across the BCG ecosystem in moments like these—where purpose, belonging, and cultural connection come to life beyond the workplace.

Thank you to Asian@BCG and our DC colleagues for lighting the way. 🕊️

No Silos here.

This week, the BrightHouse IT team connected with the ATL BCG IT team. What followed was the most joyfully geeky exchange you can imagine: deep dives on tech, spirited user-support convos, and the kind of fun that happens when smart people share what they know.

Here’s to learning out loud, lighting the way together, and turning “support” into something truly human. 🚀

As we step into the new year, we're focusing on what truly matters: connection, creativity, and community.

We recently had the chance to experience this firsthand when BCG BrightHouse Luminary Fellow and cellist Okorie Johnson led an interactive session with our Thinkers, exploring collaboration through music. It was a unique way to come together—helping Okorie prep for a client engagement while showing us how creativity fosters connection.

We're looking forward to collaborating with more artists, creators, and visionaries who help us grow, inspire wonder, and achieve our goal of discovering true light, together.

Here's to a year of creativity, collaboration, and harmony. ✨
