🧠 THE STRONG LEADER SYNDROME
When Being “The Strong One” Becomes Unhealthy
You’re the fixer. The problem solver. The encourager. The one everybody depends on.
But who carries you when you’re tired of carrying everyone else?
Being strong becomes unhealthy when:
1️⃣ You feel guilty receiving help.
2️⃣ Vulnerability feels dangerous.
3️⃣ You carry responsibilities that aren’t yours.
4️⃣ Your value becomes connected to being needed.
5️⃣ You’re exhausted but nobody knows.
Sometimes strength stops being something you possess and becomes something you feel obligated to perform.
🔥 Healthy leadership means knowing you can be strong AND need support. You can lead AND rest. You can help others without carrying everyone.
Your strength was never supposed to become your prison.
🪞 INTROSPECTIVE QUESTION:
Who are you when you don’t have to be “the strong one”?
