Paul understood his authority and identity. Apostle. Spiritual father. Authority in the early church. Based on who he was by title, it was clear that he had some worldly authority. But he really understood his identity. Instead of “pulling rank,” he chose love.

There is a kind of leadership that controls and demands, and there is a kind that appeals. They do not produce the same fruit. You can force compliance, but you cannot force a heart to transform. Let’s be clear, God operates from love and offers choice. Force is not God’s chosen way. Love can look like the longer road at the onset, but if you really desire change, it is the only way for someone to truly own their shift. It is the only way that changes people from the inside.

So ask yourself honestly today, when I want someone to do the right thing, do I lean on my position, or do I lean on love? Am I trying to win the argument or trying to be right? Am I really out to cause change in myself and them?

The ones who showed up even though they were not sure they were ready. The ones who are carrying something and have finally decided to set it down for one evening. Paul did not just thank God for Philemon's love; he named what it produced. Refreshment. Sit with that. There are people in your life who breathe easier because you exist, and there are people who brace themselves when your name comes up. Love shows up in the experience that exists between people, even if they are not physically present.

Search your heart for a moment, do I refresh the hearts of others? When they walk away from me, are they lighter, or are they tired?

What you do matters, no matter how small it seems.

This season is designed to make you forget that. Fear, chaos, and noise are all orchestrated to pull you off course.

Stay curious. Keep asking God for meaning. Trust the process of revelation, even when you feel unready.

On the other side of this upheaval, a new foundation is being built. And the people who stay clear on their purpose and values will lead the way.

Paul thanked God for people whose love and faith reached him before they ever did. Sit with that. Love is an extension of your being. When you extend love, it has the ability to reach others in ways that you may never see or understand. That is the reason to keep sharing rather than to stop because you are unsure of the impact.

Your reputation is sharing a story about who you are and what you value. The question is what story it is telling. You cannot hide a heart that loves God's people, and you cannot fake one either. What travels ahead of you is not your title, not your platform, not your highlight reel. It is how you treat all of God’s precious creations.

So ask yourself honestly today, if someone heard about me before they met me, what would it sound like? Would it give God something to be thanked for?

Hope lives inside you. Right now, in this very moment, you can reach for it and find it waiting.

We are walking through a shedding season. Let go of the fear. Let go of old identities. Let go of the emotions you have been carrying that were never yours to hold.

There is a sacred kind of grief in this work. You are mourning old versions of yourself and seasons that no longer fit who you are becoming.

So take care of yourself. Feed your body well. Rest. Pray. Practice your spiritual hygiene like your life depends on it, because it does.

Your healing reaches further than you know. When you do the inner work, your home feels it. Your business feels it. Your community feels it.

Choose hope today. Generate it from the inside.
