Most of our communication is done through non verbal communication. How we smile, the use of gestures and so forth can communicate a whole lot. The funny thing is most non verbal communication is subconscious we are usually not aware of the messages we are sending through our body language.
Tip of the day: Become aware of your body language when interacting with people. Look at photos of yourself in different settings. Is there a difference? Does your smile change in different settings?
If you notice a difference, no worries. Remind yourself that it's ok to be yourself. It's ok to who you are no matter the setting. When you are authentic you make authentic connections. Connections are the foundation of good business.
