It’s no secret that college has become more and more expensive over the years.

We ALSO know that patients are more likely to follow the see a healthcare provider AND follow the plan of care when that provider looks like them.

So how do we reconcile accessibility in certain communities when the cost of getting the degrees keeps increasing?

A few years ago, my friend, , co-founder and former CEO of WebPT decided to do something about it.

If you are an incoming, first or second year student from an underrepresented community, you are encouraged to apply for one of 20 Rizing Tide Crest Scholarships.

I lost my voice for 2 and a half months last year.

And for an additional 2.5 months, I couldn’t talk for more than about 40 minutes before my throat would hurt so bad, I couldn’t continue.

My friend would joke and say, “you ran out of minutes” like when we had to pay for minutes to talk on the cell phone 😂

Anyway, once my voice was strong enough, I decided that I wanted to speak on stage again. One of the 2 conferences on my radar was the MindShare Summit, because I knew that that group of people would really receive the message around not being a martyr in medicine and structuring your business so it gives you the impact AND lifestyle that you started the business for.

I had no idea how I would do it, but I decided that I would speak at that conference.

A few weeks later, I was at a networking event and met someone, who introduced me to someone who happened to also be in the DC area, so we decided to meet for lunch.

When she said, I am one of the mentors for the MindShare program and we have been looking for someone like you, I could not believe my ears. 😮

She went to bat for me and now I am happy to say not only am I one of the MindShare (now Health Business Growth Collective) mentors, but I will be speaking at their retreat next month.

If that isn’t manifesting, I don’t know what is. 🌟

You ever have one of those weeks where EVERYONE seems to be saying the same thing?

A few months ago, it felt like every client and friend who owns a clinic said some version of:

“I know I should be making more money, but I don’t know what else to do besides work harder or spend more on ads.”

That didn’t sit right with me, so I asked a few of them to let me take a look.

The question was simple:
Could I find AT LEAST $10K/month in revenue…without increasing ad spend, staff, or service lines?

The results even surprised me.

EVERY SINGLE CLINIC was missing $14K-$40K in revenue each month - PT, fertility, massage, chiropractic - it didn't matter the specialty.

That made me wonder: What would happen if more clinics optimized what they already have, instead of just adding more?

So I'm launching The 4X Project.

It’s a pilot program where I’ll work with a handful of clinics to uncover hidden revenue opportunities and see if we can double, triple, or even quadruple monthly revenue…without adding more staff, services, or ad spend.

Over the past few months, I’ve been having a lot of conversations with wellness clinic owners.

Here’s the pattern I keep seeing:

➡️The clinic is doing well on paper (patients are coming in, revenue is steady).

➡️But behind the scenes, the owner is working too hard for the money.

➡️Growth feels tied to MORE: more ads, more hours, more staff, and it’s exhausting.

But it’s also not the only way to grow.

What I’ve found is that often the simplest (and least stressful) way to grow is by finding missed revenue opportunities, streamlining systems, and aligning the team so everything is pulling in the same direction.

That’s why I’ve been working on something new, a way to help clinic owners create up to 4X more growth without 4X more effort.
