It’s no secret that college has become more and more expensive over the years.
We ALSO know that patients are more likely to follow the see a healthcare provider AND follow the plan of care when that provider looks like them.
So how do we reconcile accessibility in certain communities when the cost of getting the degrees keeps increasing?
A few years ago, my friend, , co-founder and former CEO of WebPT decided to do something about it.
If you are an incoming, first or second year student from an underrepresented community, you are encouraged to apply for one of 20 Rizing Tide Crest Scholarships.
Ten Crest scholars receive awards of $14,000 (renewable annually up to $42,000), and ten Rizing Star scholars receive $5,000 (renewable annually up to $15,000).
Applications are due by May 31st, so you still have time to get this free money! Don’t say I didn’t tell you.
