Six years without an LTA reflects a team that brings consistency, awareness, and accountability to demanding industrial work.

At Metal Supplier Middletown, our teams work with heavy carbon sheet and plate using overhead cranes, forklifts, rail access, and advanced processing equipment. Handling heavy material across multiple stages of production requires careful coordination, hazard awareness, and sound decisions throughout the workday.

Before joining our Charlotte team, Victoria spent five years playing basketball at Ole Miss, where she set a three-point record that still has her name attached to it. Now five years into her career at Kloeckner, she’s a Sales Supervisor in Charlotte.

Manufacturing is loud, fast, hands-on, and constantly evolving. That’s exactly what makes it exciting!

It also looks a lot different than it used to. These days, manufacturing is as much about automation, technology, and smarter processes as it is about the work happening on the floor. We're seeing that shift in how we better support customers, with more processing and manufacturing capabilities built into our everyday work.

Manufacturing has come a long way, and there’s a lot more ahead. National Manufacturing Day is a good reason to appreciate just how much the industry has changed, and look forward to what's ahead.

A strong safety culture shows up in the details, especially when the work involves heavy material, large equipment, and constant movement.

At Kloeckner Tumwater, the team operates from a 28,000-square-foot facility on five acres, handling a wide range of heavy plate and parts that support industries including mining, truck and trailer, commercial construction, material handling, aggregate, timber, and agriculture. With two flatbed trucks servicing customers across five states, safe practices extend beyond the facility and onto the road every day.

Last week, Kloeckner’s Employee Appreciation Day featured a very special guest at our Corporate Office. Reggie, a Canines for Kids facility dog from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, stopped by for a meet-and-greet, and Team Kloeckner was more than happy to make time for him.

There were plenty of belly rubs, big smiles, and lots of attention for Reggie as he showed Team Kloeckner his specialty: making friends wherever he goes.

Kloeckner is proud to partner with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to support the Canines for Kids program, where specially trained facility dogs bring comfort, connection, and joy to children and families during challenging moments.

At Kloeckner, we like to say “Unleash the Dog.” This time, we got to see that phrase in action in a whole new way.

Special thanks to Reggie and his handlers for spending the day with us. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
