Labor Day is a chance to recognize the work that makes our communities thrive, from the teams behind the scenes to the businesses that welcome us every day.

In commercial real estate, great places don’t happen by accident. They come to life through the work of those who build, manage, care for and create experiences that bring us through the doors.

We’re storytellers, and every place has a story. Today, we’re celebrating those who help make them what they are.

Multifamily fundamentals are showing signs of momentum. According to Cushman & Wakefield ’s Q2 2026 U.S. Multifamily MarketBeat, apartment demand outpaced new supply over the past year for the first time since early 2022, with vacancy declining below 9% as construction activity continues to slow.

For developers and owners, this shift highlights the importance of creating communities that meet evolving resident needs. From thoughtful design to amenity-rich experiences, successful multifamily projects are built around more than units, they’re built around how people live -- just like Selig Enterprises' Westbound at The Works and Heartwood Powder Springs.

Bluecrest Capital Advisors is launching a value-add strategy at Cypress Point Business Park, a 226,500-sq. ft. industrial flex property in Jacksonville, Fla. recently acquired for $28 million. The Nashville-based investment firm plans to transform 85,000 sq. ft. of vacant space into small-bay light industrial infill space while also subdividing larger suites to create more flexible leasing opportunities.

Within three years, Bluecrest expects approximately 76% of the property’s gross leasable area to be converted to small-bay light industrial space, with the remaining space to follow thereafter.

It’s a significant repositioning for a well-located Jacksonville property and another example of Bluecrest’s strategic approach to creating value through thoughtful investment and redevelopment.

You can find her working on a social media post from just about anywhere, from the line for the Star Wars ride at Hollywood Studios to a boat on Lake Keowee. She has a knack for creatively telling our clients’ (and our) stories and can plan a flawless event from start to finish—and somehow always knows where to find huge scissors for a ribbon cutting.

Meet Lisa, one of the creative forces behind our storytelling.

Commercial construction is changing, and FMGI, Inc. is leading the way!

Fast Company recently highlighted the growing use of 3D concrete printing in retail construction, including FMGI’s work with Alquist 3D and Walmart. With five projects completed and more on the horizon, this technology is moving beyond the “what if?” stage and into real-world application.

It’s a great example of how innovation can address some of construction’s biggest challenges while opening the door to new talent, new technologies and new ways of building.

We’re proud to help tell FMGI’s story as they push what’s possible in commercial construction.

Throwback Thursday

When FMGI President & CEO Darin Ross heard from multiple candidates that his company's website did not reflect what they were told in interviews, he called on BouncePath for messaging and branding help.

Nearly 10 years laters, we are the firm's fractional marketing director establishing communications strategy and implementing marketing and PR initiatives to support FMGI's unprecedented growth.

In a recent Commercial Observer article, "Experiential Retail: What Works Now and What Doesn't," Larry Getlen explores how today's most successful retail destinations are creating experiences that keep people coming back. His conclusion is one we couldn't agree with more: the best places don't simply entertain; they create meaningful connections through thoughtful programming, hospitality and authentic storytelling.

Here are a few of the biggest takeaways:

• Experiences should feel authentic, not manufactured.
• Food and beverage continue to be powerful drivers of traffic, dwell time and repeat visits.
• Programming, from live events to community gatherings, keeps destinations relevant long after opening day.
• Owners are increasingly thinking like hospitality operators, curating places where people want to spend time, not just shop.
• The strongest retail destinations tell a cohesive story through their design, tenant mix and experiences.

At BouncePath, that's where we come in. As storytellers, we help clients uncover what makes a place unique and bring that story to life.

It’s time for another Pet of the Month, and this Georgia peach has charm to spare!

Meet Lolly Mae, Caroline's Goldendoodle who is a true Southern girl at heart. She loves her people, enjoys being out and about and never turns down a chance to make a new friend. Whether she’s heading to doggy daycare or paying an uninvited visit to the neighbors, Lolly is always ready to socialize.

When she’s excited, Lolly’s signature jump-and-spin routine lets everyone know it! She may play neighborhood bouncer when it comes to deciding who gets on her guest list, but really, she’s just an adorable girl who doesn't know she's a dog and just wants to be where her humans are.

Stay tuned as we introduce more of the BP Pets crew!
