I had the pleasure of attending the Black Prosperity Conference 2030 in Macon this Monday, hosted by the Georgia Coalition of Black Chambers.
It was a powerful convening of chamber leaders, stakeholders, elected officials, and small business owners, all focused on advancing the path forward for Black businesses across Georgia.
A special shout out to Dr. Monica Wills Brown, Ph.D. for her outstanding facilitation, particularly her engaging conversation with Ron Busby Sr., President of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., on the “Blackprint” and strategies for economic growth.
I also had the honor of serving on the procurement panel, facilitated by Montina Young Fraiser , alongside Charise Stephens from the Office of Small Business in Macon. It was a meaningful discussion on creating access and opportunity for small businesses in public and private contracting.
Grateful to be part of these conversations and collaborations. I’m looking forward to next year’s conference as we continue to track our progress and impact.
