Design tip. If you are able to do just one thing to enhance your space, it must be to paint. New paint is the best makeover for any space. Light colors opens up small spaces, bold colors make larger spaces seem a bit smaller and cosy. You get to experience colors that you have only dreamed of, on accent walls. And you get to surround yourself with a color or two that make you smile and feel wonderful. Just paint. Any one thing.

This fall @ JAE Design & Events, we are loving the color purple!
It has always been a favorite jewel tone hue which effortlessly goes from regal, to relaxed, to quirky, to psychedelic, depending on the context in which it is deployed. It also plays well with others, complementing everything from subdued hues like brown and gray to vivid pops of more vibrant colors. Purple is divine as an accent or as a wall color, creating an incredibly rich, lush, and regal atmosphere. Purple is sexy and unexpected, and accentuates any neutral space boldly without being overbearing. It will add drama to an ordinary design in a deeper hue such as eggplant but can easily soothe a space with a softer shade of lilac or lavender.
For your interior design, start with small gestures such as adding purple pillows or a purple vase into your neutral living space area and watch it come to life!
And for events, take baby steps with purple cocktail napkins and votive candles; programs and menus printed on purple paper with gold print and watch your event design transform into a royal affair!

here's what we know for sure - When it comes to selecting your photographer, don't settle for anything less than the best. After all, you are entrusting them to document your wedding, a definite special day in your life. Do plenty of research and choose a photographer who has a style and a portfolio that aligns perfectly with your aesthetic. Just like with your man, when the right one comes along, you'll know the minute you see his or her work.....
