Recently, I’ve been struggling with obedience. I’ve been procrastinating, speaking out of turn, and overall avoiding what God has called me to do. These actions are all fruit of disappointment, of exhaustion, of being weary in waiting, of losing hope.

Recently He’s given me some tasks to complete in an otherwise mundane and I’ve neglected them. But, no more. , I the task that He gave me and I felt so accomplished.

I don’t know what’s on the other side of this obedience. But, I’m that I can tonight knowing that I have done all He has instructed me to do (at least for now 😅.)

I you. No, I urge you to do whatever it is you’ve been called to do and do it . Those who love keep His commandments. So grateful to have loved and been loved today!

Has the wait been agonizing? Has your anticipation for the man, the job, the mortgage, or the change become almost unbearable? Do you feel like you’ve been praying and praying and God just isn’t listening?

Guess what? I’ve been there. In fact, I was there just last week. I’ve been waiting on God to move in a specific area of my life and my inability to see the manifestation of my prayers left me feeling forgotten and even forsaken. But in His sweetness, He reminded me of this truth:

“For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.”
-Psalm 84:11 NLT

Always remember, God hears you, He loves you and He honors you. Remember that the wait is not punishment, but provision. For our God withholds no good thing. Period.

This week, I have truly seen the faithfulness of God. I have witnessed the power of obedience first-hand. My obedience has positioned me to hear the heartfelt and powerful testimonies of women whom I love and admire. Testimonies that I believe will transform the lives of women everywhere.

My obedience has sparked conversations that encouraged people in the goodness of God. A simple crewneck is serving as a gentle reminder that God is great (and it's super comfy too!)

My obedience has opened my mind to a deeper connection to God, my family, and my friends. I thank Him for putting the right desires in my heart. I thank the Holy Spirit for giving me direction, and I am grateful that I get to choose to yield to that direction daily. As I give Him my yes, He gives me more than I could have ever imagined!

I'm not sure what God has been calling you to do today. But, I am urging you to listen. You never know whose freedom is attached to your obedience, (even your own.) Remember that perfect love casts out fear. (I John 4:18) So, receive the fullness of His love today. And, if you don't know how; ASK HIM! Lastly, believe that once your prayers have been asked, they have already been answered.

"You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Today, I talked about how following our way (the way of the world) can lead to destruction. But, following the way of the Lord leads to eternal life. I referenced the scriptures Proverbs 1:28-33 and Psalm 119:9-16 both in the NLT version. Let’s choose His way today all! Sending love and light 💕💕💕
