In the busyness of life, it’s so easy to put Jesus on the back burner. We rush through our work, juggle our finances, and tackle our relationships, often forgetting to make space for Him. But just like the song says, we need to be intentional about inviting Jesus into all these areas.

Let’s not leave Jesus for last in our lives. Instead, let’s actively make room for Him in every decision, conversation, and challenge we face. When we do, we’ll find that His way truly is better, leading us to a life filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.

This past week I had the opportunity to be one of only 200 Mortgage Loan Originators in our company who were selected to attend an all-expenses-paid event at Rocket Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.

I’m thankful for the opportunity and for everyone who made it possible.

The biggest thing I took away from the trip wasn’t just learning about mortgages. It reminded me why I do what I do.

When someone reaches out to me, my goal isn’t simply to help them get approved for a home loan. I want to help them make the best financial decision for their family. That could mean buying a home, refinancing, using the equity they’ve built to get out of debt, or sometimes even telling them that now isn’t the right time. I want to be someone people can trust to look out for their long-term financial future—not just close another loan.

Another milestone I’m excited about is that I’m now officially licensed to originate mortgages in Pennsylvania! Since I was born and raised there, this one means a lot to me. It’s special knowing I can now help families buy a home in both in Georgia and back home in Pennsylvania.

There are moments when hard work quietly speaks for itself.

I’m incredibly proud of my husband and business partner, Irvin Rivera, for being selected as one of only 225 Mortgage Loan Originators out of more than 3,600 Primerica MLOs nationwide to receive an invitation to an exclusive training at Rocket Headquarters in Detroit.

This wasn’t something anyone could apply for. He was hand-selected because of his commitment, potential, and dedication to serving families well.

What makes me proud isn’t just the invitation—it’s the person behind it.

I get to see the long hours that no one else sees. The studying. The constant learning. The conversations with clients. The genuine desire to help people make wise financial decisions and achieve the dream of homeownership.

Success leaves clues, and this is one of those moments that reminds me that faithfulness in the small things often leads to opportunities like this.

I’m excited to see all that he’ll learn and bring back to better serve the families and communities we have the privilege of working with.
