April has been BUSY!

I must thank United Way of Greater Atlanta and Housing Plus Inc. for curating such an amazing event with the Spark Pitch Competition, which is the culmination of the Building Resilient Entrepreneurs cohort, hosted at UPS headquarters today.

If I haven't told y'all before, I'd be shocked, but public speaking is not my strong suite but I really enjoyed this program and I actually enjoyed pitching 😬. The countdown to 10 years in business is starting to feel real, and lately I’ve been reflecting on the rhythms of entrepreneurship.

Some seasons are slow and quiet, others are fast and full of momentum. Resources come and go, opportunities shift, and sometimes even the people around you change. But the one constant is you. Especially your leadership and how you show up through it all.

One of the hardest parts of leadership is maintaining your steadiness in both the good times and the challenging ones. And while stress and uncertainty are real parts of the journey, grounding yourself in who you are, what you bring to the table, and the value of your work becomes the anchor.

If you’ve been building something for years, give yourself credit for that.

Sustaining a vision takes patience, resilience, and belief in your place in the world. As we move closer to ten years, I’m learning that the goal isn’t to control every season—it’s to grow steady enough to move through them. Stay grounded, keep showing up, and remember to smile. It will get easier.
