When I started TK Consulting & Design, I thought success meant reaching the next milestone.

Ten years later, I think success looks different.

It's learning how to lead before asking others to follow.
It's understanding that surviving difficult seasons is part of building something that lasts.
It's making the next right decision, even when you can't yet see the entire path.

Looking back, I don't think resilience was something I had when I started.

I think it was something entrepreneurship taught me.

Photography is a tool that we use to elevate brands to new heights. When you're client is meeting you for the first time online, they should have the experience of meeting the team behind the brand. They shouldn't have to guess who they will be interacting with.

We had the opportunity to partner with Dan Crain to create a digital home that brings the many parts of his work together under one clear mission: equipping churches toward a more unified Church.

As a minister, author, reconciler, and trainer, Dan helps church leaders and congregations navigate difficult conversations around race, culture, and reconciliation with greater clarity, confidence, and care.

Our goal was to create a website that made that work easy to understand and engage with, from speaking and training opportunities to resources, equipping, and his book, Christ over Culture.

The result is a thoughtful, streamlined digital presence that gives Dan room to share his message, expand his reach, and continue building meaningful conversations around unity.

One of the biggest surprises over the last decade has been realizing that I didn't have to choose between the things I loved.

Strategy.
Design.
Psychology.
Social work.
Systems.
Creativity.

The business became stronger when I stopped trying to separate those parts of myself.

I've also learned that growth rarely looks the way we imagine it will. Some years you're climbing. Some years you're simply holding on. Both seasons have something to teach you.

Growth isn't measured by whether every year is bigger than the last.
It's measured by whether you're becoming someone who can sustain what you're building.
