Congratulations to Jenny Rider on her promotion to Project Manager! 🎉

Since her first day at Dark Light, Jenny has brought a rare combination of design talent and technical precision to every project — an eye for the creative vision paired with the technical know-how to make it real. That's exactly what makes a great PM, and we can't wait to see her bring it to this next chapter.

Join us in congratulating Jenny on this well-deserved step forward!

The Assembly Studios Band Shell is really starting to take shape!
This project is illuminated using just three fixture types and some truly challenging mounting locations, proving that thoughtful design can achieve a powerful visual impact.
We can't wait to see the final result once everything is aimed and programmed. https://www.atlantanewsfirst.com/2026/05/04/assembly-studios-building-bandshell-designed-world-class-live-entertainment/

Seattle’s run as a World Cup host city may be over, but this city should be celebrating for a long time.

What we shared with the world was more than great soccer. It was Seattle at its best - people gathering, cheering, connecting, and filling our public spaces with energy and joy.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of the team that helped shape the Seattle Central Waterfront, including the Salish Steps, where this photo was taken after a Pier 58 viewing party.

We also deeply grateful to have a job where we get to help create places for people to come together, celebrate, and experience the city in a new way.

Seattle showed the world who we are. What a privilege to be part of it.

The C Concourse Expansion at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is now open to travelers!

After years of design, coordination, and construction, it is incredibly gratifying to see this ambitious project become part of the public experience at SEA. The expansion captures the character of the Pacific Northwest beautifully, with light-filled spaces, intuitive pathways, and moments that invite travelers to pause, gather, and connect to place.

Dark Light Design is truly grateful to have contributed to this project, and honored for the opportunity to collaborate with the Port of Seattle, The Miller Hull Partnership, Woods Bagot, and an exceptional design and contracting team.

We are excited for millions of travelers to experience this next chapter of SEA.
