You don’t need a new, never-been-done idea to build a prosperous

There is nothing new under the sun.

All of us are repeating what has been done and said and taught 50, 500, 5000 years ago.

Yet the lessons, the inspiration, the solutions we offer are still needed.

What’s different is no other person on earth has been created like another

So we offer the same things ➡️ differently

Why?

Because we are wonderfully and uniquely created by God with different personalities, traits, and characteristics.

That’s what attracts different clients for us all.

People are drawn to you more than what you do

Therefore, there is space for all of us and clients uniquely for each of us.

The combination of your authentic experience, approach, and style makes you one of a kind.

That combination is what will attract specific people to work with you who won’t want to work with me.

And that’s why there is room for all us - to teach, offer, sell the same thing - and yet…

I created this shirt myself because I know it to be true. 👉 Yet I still struggle with the first part myself.

I am a fan of discipline.

It has delivered great highs in my life when I've employed it.

✔ A basketball championship

✔ A free car from Mary Kay Cosmetics

✔ Awards in the corporate arena

✔ A powerful podcast that has almost 100 episodes

Yet, sometimes daily, I struggle to be disciplined to do the activities I know will get me closer to my goals.

I've wracked my brain, listened to YouTube videos, and read books for the one thing that will help me improve my consistency in this area. One solution keeps appearing.

Be accountable.

✔ Be accountable to the goal. Make sure it has a deadline for completion.

✔ Be accountable to myself. Set rewards for myself for when I do what I committed to.

✔ Be accountable to someone else. (The most integral one) We are less likely to let someone else down than ourselves.

Research shows we are 80% more likely to achieve a goal when we tell someone else our goal AND give them permission to hold us accountable to it.

With the end of the year just about 90 days away, I'm looking to level up the consistency of my discipline and finish my 2024 goals.

So many of us as business owners don't know the basic numbers of our business. We know money comes in. We know we have bills. And we are happy that we have money to pay the bills - most times.

But that's not how to run a real business. That's hustling and it will end up costing us more than we make in the long run.

Tremaine broke down, with an onscreen example, exactly how these documents work and how to build one for your business. It is a must see video if you don't know right now how much cash you have in your business or you don't know whether you're in the black for the year or the red.

I haven't had the response yet that I want, but this is what putting in work looks like.

It's the effort leading up to the result that has to happen in order to realize the goal. It's not fun. It's not glamorous. But when it finally pays off, it is absolutely worth it.

And I'm doing it with a bang. 🎧

In September, I've made a goal to upload 30 videos in 30 days to the channel. Craziness right? But hopefully it will keep me focused and I'll be consistent.
