It’s been an amazing week at the Habitat for Humanity 2026 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project.

Huber employees from our Atlanta office teamed up with hundreds of volunteers from all around the country to build 24 new houses in the Sylvan Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia.

Rain or shine, these groups measured, cut and painted their way through the week. Some lucky participants even had the opportunity to install donated Huber Engineered Woods (HEW) products, making the experience all the more special.

We’re so thankful to have been able to serve as a Gold Sponsor for this year’s Carter Work Project, and congratulate the 24 new homeowners on this next chapter in their stories.

Taking place April 24–30, 2026, Global Intergenerational Week (GIW) brings individuals, families, workplaces and communities together to celebrate the meaningful connections across age groups and the unique value every generation offers.

To celebrate GIW, we highlighted different intergenerational connections across the enterprise. This included insights from Lyanne Anwar, Analytical Chemist (HSM), who is a current participant in Huber’s Mentoring Program alongside her co-mentee Kate Wray, Technical Support Specialist at Huber AgroSolutions (HAS) and her mentor Leticia Sonon, Senior Field Biologist (HAS). By meeting regularly over the course of a year, these formal mentorship pairs create the opportunity for participants to expand their networks, develop new skills and participate in meaningful, authentic conversations.

Additionally, Huber’s Young Professionals (YP) Employee Resource Group (ERG) partnered with the Veterans Engaging Together For Success (VETS) ERG to host a leadership panel earlier this week. Featuring perspectives from a wide range of career stages, the event centered around simple, actionable principles to help leaders navigate challenges, build trust and maintain strong, effective teams.

The Quincy Family YMCA has been awarded an Impact Your Community (IYC) grant to support major renovations to the organization’s gymnasium.

Promoting health and well-being within the Quincy, Illinois area for over 170 years, this funding will further strengthen the YMCA’s ability to serve local children, families and community members for years to come.

“This project is aimed at honoring our history while building a stronger future—providing a modern, inspiring gymnasium that will continue to serve as a catalyst for health, connection, and opportunity for decades to come,” shares Plant Controller, Brenda Wheeler, who submitted the IYC application on behalf of the YMCA. “This renovation is more than a facelift; it is a generational investment that will serve over 20,000 individuals through recreational activities and community programs.”

Fueled by employee nominations, Huber utilizes the annual IYC program to fund Housing, Environment and Education & Wellness causes on a global scale in local communities where Huber operates.

Through Huber Helps’ annual sponsorship of the Arbor Day Foundation (ADF), Huber has planted 625,000 trees since 2020—and every one of them tells a story.

This Arbor Day, we’re helping ADF kick off the Million Trees Project. With this global initiative, ADF’s goal is to collect personal tree stories from around the world, all while planting 1 million new trees in communities.

We invite you to join us as we support ADF by sharing a short story of a tree you love.

Together, we can inspire a future generation of tree planters. Visit the Million Trees Project page to learn more.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the Huber employees and family members who participated in Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's (CRK) 16th Annual Sweep the H***h!

Each year, this watershed-wide trash cleanup brings together hundreds of volunteers at dozens of parks, tributaries and access points along the Chattahoochee River. A total of 1,400 volunteers removed over 32 tons of trash from the Chattahoochee River this past Saturday at 67 cleanup sites.

Huber is a proud annual sponsor of the CRK Floating Classroom that provides access to water stewardship education to youth in Georgia. We look forward to continuing our partnership as they protect and serve the Chattahoochee River through meaningful advocacy, collaboration and communication.

As the soft glow of red lanterns illuminated the night sky, Lunar New Year celebrations concluded after weeks of family gatherings, shared traditions and moments of reflection. Across Huber’s global community, colleagues welcomed the arrival of the Year of the Horse while honoring practices passed down through generations.

In that same spirit of togetherness, this time of year brings forward a wide range of customs. Earlier in this season, teams from our Huber Advanced Materials (HAM) sites in Shanghai and Qingdao, China, and Seoul, South Korea, gathered for annual dinners to celebrate and connect before the holiday, a meaningful time for many to honor their family roots.

“For Chinese companies, in particular, the annual dinner before Lunar New Year is vital,” shared Helen Lu, Asia HR Manager for Huber Engineered Materials. “It strengthens team cohesion, boosts morale, recognizes employees’ hard work, conveys the Company vision and helps build a strong sense of belonging. Colleagues are just like family.”

The traditions shared by our colleagues reflect the spirit of I Belong at Huber, honoring the cultures and perspectives that strengthen our global community and continue to resonate long after the lantern light of the holiday fades.

This Sunday, March 8, marks 115 years of International Women’s Day. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, these moments in time give us an opportunity to acknowledge the impact of women and reflect on remarkable progress built over generations.

“Recognizing International Women’s Day at Huber is critical because it reinforces the Huber Principles, particularly Respect for People,” said Rachel Halpern Lekai, Corporate Finance Director. “Celebrating this important day highlights our commitment to diversity, enhancing performance and attracting and retaining top talent. Huber’s participation makes me proud to work for an organization that prioritizes equity for women.”

Next Monday, our women-focused Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) will host a special panel event in celebration of International Women’s Day. Representing the worldwide theme of "Give to Gain,” the discussion will explore how reciprocity and support drive leadership, career growth, allyship and change.

We look forward to this engaging conversation and celebrating the community of women and allies across Huber.

Civitan Services has received an Impact Your Community (IYC) grant to support its work in delivering specialized care, support and educational opportunities to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

These funds will be utilized to expand their outdoor recreation offerings, as they strive to create enriching, inclusive experiences for these individuals.

“The improvements made from this investment will enhance the quality of life for the 160 youth and adults with disabilities that are served annually by Civitan Services,” shares Logistics Specialist, Canaan McGee, who was the employee nominator for this project. “Funding will enable the facility to provide safer and more inclusive outdoor activities as well as building the foundation for a long-term vision of growing the outdoor program.”

Fueled by employee nominations, Huber utilizes the annual IYC program to fund Housing, Environment and Education & Wellness causes on a global scale in local communities where Huber operates.

Driven by the Huber Principles and our commitment to community well-being, we are excited to share Huber’s participation in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program—an effort aiming to improve healthcare access for people in small communities in Georgia.

For many years, Georgia’s rural hospitals have struggled due to economic, demographic and healthcare industry challenges. Through the Georgia HEART tax credit initiative, these hospitals receive much-needed funding to help them expand and improve their services. Huber’s donated funds to six hospitals across Georgia are directly promoting better health outcomes for individuals in these communities, supporting the purchase of essential medical equipment, upgrades to patient areas and overall enhancements to patient care.

In addition to these funds, local teams within our Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) and Huber Engineered Woods (HEW) businesses teamed up with the Foundation for Hospital Art to paint and donate colorful murals to brighten the hallways of some of the hospitals that received Huber’s funds.

We are proud to be able to support the long-term health and prosperity of the communities we serve, and are grateful to all our employees who shared their time and talents to contribute to this meaningful effort.

Black History Month is an opportunity to honor the achievements, cultural influence and legacy of Black communities, recognizing the significant impact made to our workplaces, and society at large.

At Huber, we strive to celebrate our employees’ diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, watching them shape how we work, lead and support one another every day.

For Eddie Thomas, Sr. Credit Specialist at Huber Engineered Materials and Co-Lead of our Black Employees Supporting Talent (BEST) Employee Resource Group (ERG), this means incorporating cultural values like positivity, dignity and respect in the way he shows up for his colleagues and approaches his work.

Eddie’s way of showing up reminds us that when people can bring their full selves to work, we build stronger teams, stronger connections and a stronger Company.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke often about the idea of the “Beloved Community,” a society rooted in dignity, justice and care for one another, where differences are not erased but respected, and where progress is driven by collective responsibility.

At Huber, we see this idea of the Beloved Community reflected in how our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) bring people together. ERGs create intentional spaces for connection, learning and collaboration, helping employees build understanding, strengthen relationships, and contribute to a workplace grounded in respect and shared responsibility.

Huber’s ERGs welcomed nearly 80 new members globally throughout 2025 and hosted a total of 46 events, creating opportunities to serve local communities, further develop professional skillsets and grow deeper connections with one another.

As we start this new year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day offers a moment to honor a legacy that continues to inspire us and to renew our shared commitment to building community together.
