Behold, he that keepeth you shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. AMEN!

YOU WILL GET THERE

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Every great destiny must attract resistance and contention. The great men and women in the Bible always had something to contend with in the process of becoming what they were ordained to be. A good understanding of this truth will help you have a right attitude to challenges that come your way.

Contention is very selective as to where it operates. You will not find contention where there is mediocrity, failure and incompetence. Nobody fights a failed person. Satan never chases after useless souls, but he will hunt for the precious one, just like the adulteress (Proverbs 6:26).

So, when you find opposition rising against you, it is because there is greatness in you. Nobody resists a static object or pushes against anything that is moving backwards. You only push against an advancing object. If you will amount to nothing, nobody will bother you. If you are going nowhere, no one will worry about you.

David faced serious opposition from his own family and also from king Saul. That persecution drove him into the wilderness. He lived in caves and was on the run most of the time. But all these things happened to him because of the king’s anointing that rested upon him. When he was a nobody, Saul did not even know that he existed. But when greatness beckoned, he could no longer be ignored.

Beloved, you are going somewhere great and with God on your side, you will surely get there in Jesus name.

AUTHORIZED TO MAKE PROGRESS

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward” (Exodus 14:15).

God is very much interested in our progress and never wants us to be held down on the same spot. This desire of God covers every aspect of life, from marriage to ministry, health, education, finances, career and business.

When God ordered Moses to tell the children of Israel “that they go forward”, He authorized their individual and collective right to a life of progress and advancement. By that word, it became impossible to stop the people from progressing. Not even the mighty Red Sea could stand in their way.

From the point at which God spoke and authorized their progress, it no longer mattered what they had or did not have. Despite the fact that the Red Sea was before them and they needed to go across, it did not matter whether they had ships or not, or whether there was any device available to take them across. God had spoken and that was all that mattered.

Now, I have good news for you. By these same words of the scripture, the Lord has authorized your advancement and progress in all aspects of life. God’s word is your authority to make progress in life. Heaven has spoken, the earth must hearken, and the circumstances of your life must obey the divine decree henceforth.

I stand on that authority right now and speak to every hindrance and impediment in your path to give way at once. Whatever is holding you down or delaying your progress in any way is removed and destroyed today. By the divine decree, GO FORWARD, in Jesus name.

Greetings, beloved brethren and lovers of TODAY’S MESSAGE.

I am glad to inform you that *TM* broadcast will resume tomorrow Sunday 14th September, 2025.

I want to sincerely thank you for your love, prayers, encouragement and support this past three weeks.

I am also thankful to many who partner with me by sharing TODAY'S MESSAGE with friends and family from time to time. Please don't relent but rather do it more than before. Great is your reward with God. And for those who have not yet joined the chariot of TM ambassadors, may I request that you help share Today's Message as often as you get blessed by it.

FROM NOTHING TO ABUNDANCE (V)

“And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes” (John 21:6).

There is always a right way to do things in order to generate profitable results. Knowing the right thing to do and doing it right is very important to successfully transition from the position of nothing to abundance.

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples by the sea of Tiberias and found Peter and his friends who had been fishing all night but caught nothing. Then He told them to cast the net on “the right side of the ship”, assuring them that they would find. When they did so, they got multitude of fishes.

Sometimes, people get poor results in life or get nothing at all because they are labouring on the wrong side. From conception of ideas to planning and ex*****on, every move is wrong and contrary to abundance. But the good news is that the Lord can always show you the right side to your work as He did for Peter. May your eyes be opened to identify the right step that will give you breakthrough.

Now, when Peter and others had laboured on the right side, they caught one hundred and fifty-three great fishes. Again, it is patently clear that God can move a man from zero to quality abundance within a very short moment. In this particular case, He did not even wait for Peter to pray or ask for help. Your testimony shall be the next in Jesus name.

FROM NOTHING TO ABUNDANCE (IV)

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go” (Isaiah 48:17).

The place of instruction in attaining success in the kingdom of God cannot be overstretched. God’s children must understand that godly instructions are particularly pivotal when it comes to transitioning from zero to surplus without compromising righteousness.

In today’s Bible verse for meditation, the Lord testifies that He is the One who teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go. Although this is a common reference scripture among Christians in business circles, the truth is that God is able to give us expert instructions and training on how to make gains and enter into abundance in every area of life. Beyond the individual level, even nations can enjoy supernatural abundance by following the instructions of the Lord. Biblical Israel proved this again and again.

The Bible is replete with instances of God’s intervention in the affairs of people through the instrument of instruction. Since God knows all things, adhering to the wisdom and instructions He provides will always produce outstanding supernatural results. We have seen this truth illustrated in the story of Peter and many other Bible saints. There are also testimonies among contemporary Christians of how they followed divine instructions and secured unusual breakthroughs.

But when we neglect divine instructions and do contrary to God’s commands, we miss the opportunity of experiencing unlimited peace and prosperity (Isaiah 48:18). May the Lord help us to pay attention to His commands and may grace for obedience abound to us.

FROM NOTHING TO ABUNDANCE (III)

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8).

There are important factors that facilitate the journey from nothing to abundance and excess. One of such factors is ready compliance with the instructions of the Lord.

In today’s Bible text, we find Peter having another encounter similar to the first time he met Jesus. Here again, Peter and six other disciples had gone fishing and caught nothing. But in the morning, Jesus showed up and gave them an instruction, which when they followed, they had a breakthrough that produced supernatural abundance.

The point is that abundance comes by harkening to the instructions of the Lord. It was the same pattern as the first time when the Lord told him: “Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught”. Although that instruction was contrary to Peter’s professional mind, he nevertheless obeyed (Luke 5:4-5). The result was the greatest amazement of his life.

Sometimes, the direction the Lord gives may be contrary to what you are used to. On these two occasions that involved Peter, the instruction of Jesus did not tally with fishing conventions. But he obeyed the Lord notwithstanding. If you also will trust the Lord like Peter did and obey Him, you will undoubtedly have an experience of abundance after the manner of what Peter experienced.

If you really want abundance, begin to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions and see to it that you follow them through. Very soon, you will have an amazing testimony to share. Receive grace to follow the Lord’s instructions in Jesus name.

FROM NOTHING TO ABUNDANCE (II)

“And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink” (Luke 5:7).

God always wants to bless us and bless others through us. He called Abraham and told him that He would not only bless him, but also make him a blessing. Indeed, Abraham would be so blessed that all the families of the earth shall be blessed through him (Genesis 12:2-3).

The above is not limited to Abraham. The story of Peter proves that it is the usual pattern with God to bless a man and then use him to bless others. Remember that Peter had previously recorded an unproductive day in his business. But when Jesus intervened, Peter moved from nothing to abundance.

However, Peter’s encounter teaches that God’s abundance shipped towards you will not only supply your needs, but also answer questions in the lives of your family, friends and neighbours. Apparently, the partners of Peter referenced in this encounter had also suffered a similar fate like him because their ship was equally empty. They also must have toiled all the night and caught nothing. But when God visited their neighbour, there was an overflow in equal measure to that of the principal beneficiary of God’s surpassing grace and they also moved from nothing to abundance.

Beloved, as you look forward to God’s abundant supply, be ready to share with others so that God can use you to move them from zero to surplus. May God grant us that liberal heart in Jesus name.
