I have to be completely honest: I’ve been guilty of every single one of these.

There were seasons, where my prayer life was just a fast fleeting moment, followed immediately by picking up my phone or doing something else and then wondering why I felt so unguided. And sometimes I used to ask people for their opinion before I took it to God. Then by the time I sat down to pray, my spirit was already clouded by all the noise.

When I decided to lock in last year, getting serious about my spiritual life was a non-negotiable pillar. I realized God wasn’t silent. I was just too busy to listen. The moment I quit filling the empty spaces with distractions and started honoring the stillness, the direction became crystal clear.

Come on in here love! We’ve all been there, wondering why the same type keeps showing up with a different name.

The truth is, your heart usually goes for what feels familiar, even if that familiar is actually just old pain on repeat. You aren’t broken, you’re just unhealed. But once you start doing the work, the game changes. What used to feel exciting (the chaos) starts looking real draining, and that boring peace starts looking like a luxury.
