My name is Sylvia Nicole, and I’ve spent the last 15 years in the world of IT — from the United States Air Force to managed service providers, small tech companies, and leadership roles where I was often the only woman and the only Black woman in the room.
I built my career without a degree, through determination, self-teaching, certifications, and refusing to let anyone gatekeep opportunities from me.
Now it’s my turn to give back.
As a Black woman and a veteran, I know exactly what it feels like to want more, to deserve more, and to be ready for a career that offers stability, respect, and real income. ITGIRLTECH is my way of opening the door wide — no gatekeeping, no secrecy, no “figure it out on your own.”
This is my gift to my community.
My mission is simple: get as many women into the technical field as possible, whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up.
If I did it with limited resources, no degree, and no roadmap —
you can too.
And I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
