Yesterday, I had the privilege of serving as the keynote speaker for the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators at The Commerce Club on the 49th floor of 191 Peachtree Tower. I’m especially grateful to Claristine Pinckney, President of the AALA Chapter, for the invitation and the opportunity to pour into such outstanding leaders in the legal profession.

It was an honor to facilitate an executive retreat for President Safa Zaki and her awesome executive team of Bowdoin College located in Brunswick, Maine. As a public speaker, one of the highlights of my career to date, came in September 2009 when I was hired to serve as a keynote speaker during a two day event at Emory University aimed at encouraging participants to focus on the importance of mental health. What made this such a memorable moment for me is that the headliner for the event was former First Lady Rosalynn Carter who committed her career and her life to promoting mental health awareness, treatment, prevention, early intervention, and resilience. She truly helped to destigmatize the subject of mental illness. May her great works continue. And may her memory be a blessing. She truly set an example of a life well lived.
