Hey everyone — Skyler here.
As a proud DeVry University alum, I want to take a moment to speak to my peers, our community, and every future student out there scrolling through wondering if this journey is worth it.
Let me be the one to tell you: it absolutely is.
The long nights, the early mornings, the deadlines, the grind — you will look back and be so damn proud you pushed through.
Two years flew by for me. I graduated this September with honors, Dean’s List, a 3.8 GPA, and an Associate Degree in hand. I’m a Leader in the Women in Tech Scholars Program, and if you're a woman stepping into tech, aviation, cybersecurity, engineering, or anything STEM — I’ve got you. Reach out anytime. I mean that.
Right now, I’m working at RTX / Collins Aerospace as an Avionics Technician, and I’m heading straight into my Bachelor’s in Engineering next.
If I can do it, you can do it.
If you’ve made it this far — YOU MADE IT.
Now finish this thing with a bang.
And listen, you’re not alone on this path.
