Sometimes all it takes is a little help to turn an overwhelming space into one that feels safer, clearer, and easier to move through. We focused on creating open walkways, grouping essentials, and setting up simple systems that support everyday life.

Organizing isn’t about how big the job is. It’s about how much lighter someone feels afterward.

January can be a great month to clean and declutter one or more of your closets. It’s common to have new clothes to organize after the holidays, and if December was too busy, you can use this month to switch in your seasonal clothes to the front.

We’ve put together a full 29-step plan to guide you through reorganizing, cleaning, and decluttering your closets. You can use the plan over the course of a month, taking 29-30 days to go through the tasks every day. Or, you can simply use it as a checklist and try to follow the plan in one go, or over a few days.

It’s entirely up to you how to use it. However, having a detailed plan to reference makes decluttering the closet just that little easier. Good luck!
