📢 PSA FOR THE 2026/2027 TAX SEASON & BEYOND

Effective immediately, I will no longer provide free tax advice, return reviews, refund explanations, IRS assistance, or consultations for returns I did not prepare.

If another tax professional prepared your return, please direct questions to them, as they are best equipped to explain it.

The only exception is for active members of my tax team. I will always support and mentor my team when needed.

If a member of my team prepared your return, please contact that preparer first. Do not come directly to me with questions about a return I did not prepare. If additional assistance is needed, your preparer can contact me.

For returns I did not prepare, consultation fees apply before any review, guidance, or advice is provided.

My time and expertise have value. Going forward, services for returns filed elsewhere will be fee-based.

If you need an amendment, second opinion, tax planning, or a professional review of a previously filed return, I’d be happy to help. Service fees apply.

YES - I’m still accepting tax clients!

Before reaching out, please make sure your client intake form is fully completed. This keeps everything smooth on both ends 😌 & avoids chasing you down for missing info, no back-and-forth, no delays. It also includes the required agreement/disclaimer that must be signed before I can start your return.

Let’s be clear:
No intake form = no service. Period🚫

I need complete and accurate information to properly prepare your taxes and protect both of us.

Missing details = unnecessary risk, and we’re not doing that over here.

One thing I noticed this tax season 🫣

A lot of preparers know how to DO the work… but when it’s time to respond to clients, that confidence gets a little shaky.

Not because you don’t know your stuff - but because you weren’t taught how to communicate it.

Simple questions like:“How can I get a bigger refund?”“When will I get my money?”“Why did my refund change?”

…shouldn’t feel stressful, but for a lot of people, they do.

And that’s where the uncertainty creeps in 😳overthinking, second guessing, or just not knowing how to respond in a firm, professional way.

That’s exactly why I’m glad I created something for my preparers.

I put a system in place so they can answer questions with certainty, not confusion…with confidence, not panic…and still have guidance to lean on when they need it.

Because knowing how to file is one thing…but knowing how to stand on what you’re saying!

Feb 15 = GREEN LIGHT 🚦
MY PATH FILERS >> HELP IS ON THE WAY 🙌🏽🥳

As of today February 15, the IRS can now begin processing refunds for returns that include EITC and/or ACTC.

This means:

🫣 Transcripts can update
🤭 Returns start to go from ACCEPTED >> APPROVED
🤗 Deposits can start rolling out in batches

Updates and deposits happen gradually. Timing will vary by bank 🏦 ⏳

A common question a lot of us tax preparers get is:

💭 “I know someone who already got their refund… why didn’t I?”

Here’s the simple answer:
Everyone’s return processes differently.

Dependents, credits, and reviews all come with different timelines ⏳ Even if you filed at the same time as someone else, your return is still your own.

Try not to compare or panic. Reviews and delays are common and don’t automatically mean something is wrong. Trust the process and let it play out 💸

Tax season really be testing patience 😮‍💨
If you’re a tax preparer and your phone been doing TOO much… this is for you 🫣

Yeah. All of that 😭

If you’re already filing your taxes with me, you can add 3 months of credit repair for just $249, and yes 🙌🏽 it can be taken directly out of your refund.

This includes the full dispute process for 90 days. I handle the disputes for you. The only thing you’re responsible for is mailing the certified letters (all instructions are provided step-by-step).
