❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚
Today, we honor freedom, resilience, culture, and the enduring strength of those who came before us.
Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is a day of reflection, remembrance, celebration, and hope.
As we celebrate, let us remember the sacrifices made, the barriers overcome, and the progress achieved through courage, determination, and unity.
Today is a reminder that freedom is precious, history matters, and our voices have power.
May we continue to educate, uplift, support, and empower one another while building stronger communities for future generations.
❤️ Honor the past.
🖤 Celebrate the present.
💚 Inspire the future.
Happy Juneteenth!
