Sunday me always has the BEST intentions. 😂📓

Everything is organized, the week is mapped out, and I’m convinced I’ve thought of absolutely everything.

Then Tuesday shows up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But that’s the beauty of planning. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be helpful. Sometimes the best plans are the ones that leave a little room for life to happen. 🤎

Here’s your reminder that crossing something out and moving it to another day still counts as planning!

A little peek inside the planner pouch that goes everywhere with me. 🖊️😂

I may not use every color consistently, but apparently I need all of them available at all times. My nonnegotiables are a good black pen, sticky notes, and something to cover the plans that changed. 🤎

Some weeks I have it all planned out…and some weeks I’m just trying to figure out what absolutely has to happen. 😂

One thing that always helps me is narrowing everything down to my top three priorities. Not the 47 things floating around in my head — just the three things that would make me feel good about the week if I got them done. ✨

There are two kinds of people…

Actually, scratch that. There are about 47 kinds of planners. 😂📓

Some of us schedule EVERYTHING. Some of us live by a running to-do list. And some of us just need somewhere to get all the things floating around in our heads onto paper.

That’s one of my favorite things about planning: your planner doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. It just has to work for you. 🤎✨

My weeks feel a whole lot less chaotic when I stop trying to plan everything and focus on three things: what has to happen, what I want to accomplish, and what I want to make time for. 🤎 Sometimes that last one is productive…and sometimes it’s literally ‘sit down and read.’

😂 Planning doesn’t have to mean filling every hour. It can just mean being intentional about where your time goes.
