🍷🚢 Would we recommend a cruise on the Miss Augusta? Absolutely! 🚢🍷

We spent last Sunday afternoon aboard the Miss Augusta, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget.

For a few hours, it felt like we had been transported far beyond Missouri, cruising through beautiful river scenery while leaving the everyday hustle behind. The ship never felt crowded, the crew was outstanding, and everything from the décor to the cleanliness of the vessel was top-notch.

The food was delicious, the drink selection was impressive, and the entire experience was thoughtfully put together from start to finish.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a unique day trip, the Miss Augusta offers a chance to slow down, relax, and enjoy a side of Missouri that many people never get to see. The views from the river are incredible, and it’s one of those experiences that truly can’t be fully appreciated until you experience it for yourself.

Adam Puchta Winery is proud to sponsor the 2026 Hermann Plein Air Festival, bringing artists from near and far to capture the beauty of Hermann's rolling hills, vineyards, and landscapes.
This year's theme, Beyond the Horizon, invites artists of all ages and skill levels to paint throughout Hermann from June 7–12, culminating in a judged art show and sale on June 13 at the Historic Festhalle.
One selected painting will do more than win recognition—it will inspire a future Press House Series wine label, becoming part of the Adam Puchta story for years to come.
We can't wait to see Hermann through the eyes of this year's artists.

We packed a lot into one day yesterday at the Augusta Wine & Jazz Festival! Between the fantastic wines, live music, perfect weather, and catching up with fellow wine lovers, it was another unforgettable day in Missouri wine country. 🍷🎷

🍷🎶 We had a great time at the first night of the Augusta Jazz & Wine Festival!

The evening was filled with fantastic wine, live music, delicious snacks, and great conversations. We also enjoyed a guided tour and history lesson at Mount Pleasant Estates, getting another behind-the-scenes look at the passion and hard work that goes into every bottle of wine.

One of the most exciting parts of the night was participating in the blind dry red People’s Choice tasting to help select the best dry red in the Augusta area. We can’t wait to see who comes out on top!

As always, one of the best parts was connecting with the Missouri wine community—meeting new friends and catching up with familiar faces.

If you missed the first night, there’s still plenty of music, wine, and fun happening today and tonight. It’s a great chance to visit Augusta, explore its incredible wineries, and experience everything this amazing wine region has to offer.

Sometimes all it takes is a good bottle of wine and a great conversation to create a memorable moment. 🍷❤️

🍷🥜 Missouri Wine Pairing Experiment… SUCCESS. 🥜🍷

Tonight’s unexpected pairing:�Pita bread + peanut butter + cheddar & sour cream Ruffles + BBQ sauce paired with a 2019 Vignoles from Balducci Vineyards.

And somehow… it absolutely worked.

The Vignoles brought a bright, crisp finish that balanced out all the salty, smoky, creamy chaos happening in the sandwich. Every sip seemed to make the peanut butter creamier, the chips pop more, and the BBQ sauce come alive without overpowering anything.

This is one of those pairings that sounds completely questionable at first… until you try it and realize Missouri wine can handle WAY more than people expect.

That tropical fruit and acidity from the Vignoles cut right through the richness and kept everything refreshing instead of heavy.

Honestly? This may go down as one of the most unexpectedly good pairings we’ve tried yet.

Proof that Missouri wine isn’t just for “traditional” pairings. Sometimes the weird experiments end up being the best ones. 🍷🔥
