I’m a voice teacher/singer that skateboards (and surfs). Can skateboarding help me to teach & sing better?? Absolutely! The way I learn a new skate trick is directly translatable to the way I learn how to teach & perform songs. Use what you already know to discover what you don’t know yet. That’s one of my secrets to teaching singers!! I find out what you already do well and translate that into transforming your singing. What do you already do well? Can you find how you might apply the same processes to improving your singing? Share your thoughts in the comments. BTW- I call this the Carrasco Flip (if it already has a name, then I have no clue what it is).
