At Higher Vibes Studios, mutual aid is at the cornerstone of our success. Our space exists only because of community.
After recent storms left our AC system damaged and our space vulnerable, we’re calling on our neighbors, friends, and extended village to help us weather this moment of uncertainty. This is about survival. Not just for our studio, but for the small businesses, artists, and organizers who call Higher Vibes home, and all those affected by this severe weather.
On July 20th at 1pm, we’re hosting a Flood Relief Donation Drive & Yard Sale to raise funds for repairs and collect essential supplies for those of us impacted by the Central Texas floods.
We’re accepting:
•Non-perishable food, gallon water jugs, and manual can openers
•Sleeping bags, tents, tarps, stakes, and ponchos
•Reusable containers, water bottles, and coolers
•Sanitary products, dry shampoo, deodorant, wipes, and first aid kits
•Work gloves, rain boots, headlamps, and solar chargers
•Cash, gift cards, and gas cards
You can also shop our Yard Sale featuring:
🪑 Used furniture
💡 Light fixtures
🚪 Doors and scrap wood
🖼 Household goods and art
🛠 Misc. home + office items from a working commercial space.
We’ll continue to collect survival essentials throughout the season (and for the foreseeable future), because the need doesn’t end after the headlines fade. Let’s show up for each other, because if we’re going to make it through this, we’re going to do it together. 🤞🏾
