*COMMUNITY WARNING/STORY TIME*
As y’all may already know our Company is all over Central Texas every night no matter what the weather is like. We are out fulfilling our routine contracts and keeping our Clients happy and their properties clean. We have been in business and operating full time for 4 years now and things have been for the most part great as we do our best to over perform, establish great rapport with all Clients no matter how big or small, have great systems and people in place, and take utmost pride in anything we do.
For the past 2 months when working around the Lockhart/ Mustang Ridge areas we have been dealing with something we couldn’t even imagine possible as a Company. If you’re a Business owner you know that some jobs pay you Cash/Check/Transfer on the spot and some Commercial contracts will put you on a Net30-90 where they’ll pay you out eventually. On these jobs where we don’t get paid right away we wrap up our project, notify property owner that we are done, send pictures, then head to the next job.
HERES WHERE THINGS GET STRANGE: Ironically around Labor Day we notice a beat up Chevy Astro with Ladders on top and tinted windows towards the end of every project. Once I picked up on its pattern of parking across the street while we finish and then coming into the property we cleaned once we leave I knew it was suspect. Fast forward a few weeks and we get emails from our long time Clients asking to confirm changes to our Company and payout information… that is when I started to dig deeper. The last straw was a few weeks ago when washing the Oldest Library in Texas, the “Dr. Eugene Clark Library,” in Downtown Lockhart, which of course is a huge accomplishment and an honor.
We washed the property for 3 hours and for the last hour I saw as the Astro Van drove and parked around the Square. We go thru with our routine cleaning and then leave but my employee forgets a tool on site so we turn back. When we got back we see a Hispanic Male in his 30s taking pictures of the areas we cleaned, as soon as he sees our truck and trailer he runs away to his Vehicle parked a street away. My team and I are trying to puzzle the pieces together throughout the week then we get a call from the Library Director stating someone has been acting like one of our employees and taking credit for the work we have done.
The only reason I am making this public is to make people in the Lockhart/ Mustang Ridge area aware that there is lowlifes out there watching you all night and trying to get paid for work they didn’t do. Luckily he only got away with a small $200 cash payout from a small corner store but what gets me upset is that I know there is millions of Men like me who would rather be at Home with Family than out working and getting wet in near freezing weather. Now that we figured out what was going on we are back to normal and hope that if the Thief looks over our Social Media pages, he sees that he is just a bum and we will always do great thanks to Gods help and y’all’s support!
SHARE this to spread awareness and HEART THIS if you or someone you love is out working every night/day to provide food and warmth! 💙
