I’ve talked before about why showing up matters.

This week, our team showed up for a meeting in Dallas. We had about 10 days’ notice, so schedules had to move and some things had to get rearranged.

Nobody hesitated. Nobody complained. They just figured it out and showed up. One even volunteered because of the nature of the meeting.

Maybe that sounds like a small thing, but it’s huge.

And the coolest part is, this isn’t really out of the ordinary for our team. It’s just part of the culture we’ve all built together. When something needs to happen, people step up.

I keep finding new reasons to be proud of this group.

Five years ago today, Sparrow Hospitality Services officially began.

What started as an idea has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. An amazing team, incredible hotel partners, and a company that continues to evolve every single day.

We’ve made mistakes. We’ve learned. We’ve grown. And true to one of our core values, we’ve remained “Always Under Construction”.

Five years down. A whole lot more to build.

At Sparrow Hospitality Services, we believe the best sales strategies combine technology with genuine, face-to-face relationships.

While we support hotels from coast to coast through our remote sales model, we also have team members strategically located in markets across the country. When the opportunity arises, we put boots on the ground to strengthen local relationships and generate new business for our hotel partners.

Today, Cassie and Sarah joined forces to conduct sales calls for two of our Texas hotels, meeting with local businesses, introducing our properties, and uncovering new opportunities in the market.

This collaborative approach is one of the ways Sparrow delivers more than traditional remote sales support. By combining the efficiency of a national team with local market engagement, we’re able to create meaningful connections that help drive long-term revenue for our clients.

Whether we’re working from our home offices, collaborating virtually, or out making sales calls in the community, our mission remains the same: helping our hotel partners grow through proactive sales, strong relationships, and consistent ex*****on.

Just got back from the IHG Hotels & Resorts 2026 Suites Summit in San Antonio… What an event.

Got to meet a lot of people I’ve only ever known through emails, calls, and LinkedIn. You know those connections you’ve had for years but never actually met in person.

Cassie and Alysia were there representing some of their hotels, which meant a lot. Watching them walk into those rooms, build relationships, and carry the standard we talk about every day. A proud moment for sure.

We also had some of our owners, partners, and their GMs there, which made it even better. Always good to spend time together in person, not just on calls and emails.

My favorite part was seeing our Atwell Suites and our AMAZING GM, Terri, get recognized for their 2025 achievements. Well deserved, and a direct reflection of the leadership and effort that happens behind the scenes every single day. As a seller, knowing that anything you send to your hotel will be well taken care of is priceless. Makes the job a whole lot easier.

Having a group of people working toward the same goal in the trenches day to day, all in one place.

Grateful for the partners, the conversations, and the time spent with some really good people.
